Fred E. Lynn, known as “Freddy The Fox” and father of baseball legend Fred Lynn passed away on Thursday February 20, 2020.  He was surrounded by family and will be missed dearly.  Fred lived an amazing and full life.  He was a extraordinary family man and his work ethic was key to the development of his son, Fred Lynn.  His love for his friends and family was unconditional.

I was able to meet Fred’s father a few years ago.  He was just a delight to talk to and the stories he had about his life and his son would fill up all the time you could spare and more.  I was honored to get to meet such a great person.  The Lynn’s impact on my life are immeasurable.
